The best Amazon deals of the week: 8 offers that are actually worth it

Thousands of offers pass through Amazon's deal pages every week — and the percentage alone tells you little about whether an offer is genuinely good. For our weekly overview we went through the current deal feed and picked the eight offers where price, ratings and everyday usefulness line up. All prices were valid at the time of publication; each deal card shows at a glance whether an offer is still live.

Our three highlights of the week

The mouse at half price: at roughly 47% off, the Rapoo MT760L is the most striking tech deal of the week. A rechargeable battery, two wireless modes and multi-device switching for very little money — we explain why that package is unusually complete in our full deal check.

The sofa classic: there is no shortage of throws, but the Gözze blanket in 220 × 240 cm gets the balance right: living-room-sized XL format, a substantial 500 g/m² fabric and 40% below the regular price. If you want to stock up for autumn and winter, basics like this are best bought in summer — exactly when nobody is looking for them.

Small outlay, real value: STAEDTLER fineliners for loose change sound unspectacular, but they are a good example of an honest deal: branded stationery you would end up rebuying anyway, at nearly half price. With the new school year approaching, restocking offers like this are worth a look.

The Icon Dalton beanbag with footstool is for anyone after an alternative to a second armchair in the gaming room or a teenager's bedroom — at 23% off it is rarely this affordable, and the corduroy finish looks considerably smarter than the usual nylon sacks. On the POC Cularis bike helmet you normally pay a premium for the MIPS protection system; with 16% off it drops into the price region of basic helmets that lack it. The Relaxdays bamboo spice rack is a classic small-ticket deal: at a price this low, you can hardly go wrong if your worktop is overflowing anyway. The JBL Quantum headset is only 6% off — it makes the list because the starting price for a branded gaming headset with a decent microphone is low to begin with. And the Google Pixel 9 shows that a second look pays off for flagships too: 7% sounds modest, but on a device in this class it amounts to a solid double-digit saving.

What we looked for when selecting

Not every big discount is a good deal. Three criteria shaped this list. First, the crossed-out price has to be plausible — a "discount" on a fantasy price nobody ever paid is out. Second, ratings matter: products with strikingly few or poor reviews did not make the cut. And third, the everyday test: we prefer things people actually use over impulse buys that only land in the basket because of the percentage.
